Dr. Lawrence Kosinski is the managing partner of Elgin Gastroenterology, an eight-physician, single-specialty gastroenterology practice in Elgin, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Dr. Kosinski has been involved with electronic medical records (EMR) for 15 years and has created an EMR system for his practice. A fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), Dr. Kosinki is currently a member of the AGA's Practice Management and Economics Committee and also sits on the EMR Technical Expert Panel, which is a subcommittee of the AGA's Clinical Practice and Quality Management Committee.
