Course Description



This full-day CME program is designed to provide practicing gynecologists, urogynecologists, urologists and clinicians specializing in women’s healthcare with cutting-edge information on recent advances in the diagnosis, management and treatment of urinary incontinence. The program includes in-office urodynamic testing, the interpretation of results to ensure proper diagnosis, patient counseling and treatment options from behavioral therapy and pharmacologic management through to surgical interventions. This course offers didactic lectures, interactive case studies and a hands-on workshop.  A breakfast, lunch and syllabus are also provided.

Overall Educational Purpose

This continuing medical education activity focuses on defining the different types of incontinence in women, and reviewing the various approaches to evaluation, diagnosis, and medical and surgical options to address the complexities of this clinical condition. When participating in an Omnia Education activity, you can expect active learning that includes strategies for applying what you learn into your practice, ancillary tools that supplement the educational process and opportunities for interaction with faculty.  Our goal is to provide you with relevant education that meets identified needs so that results are measurable, sustained and result in improved patient care.

You can expect to learn the following:
• Methods and procedures to enable the effective evaluation and diagnosis of  urinary or stress incontinence and overactive bladder
• The full spectrum of current treatment approaches, to include identifying the  appropriate candidates for conservative, pharmacological and surgical treatments
• Use of various assessment, diagnostic and patient management tools and technologies, by way of hands-on demonstration 


Target Audience



This course is designed to meet the Continuing Medical Education needs of the practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Family Physician, Urogynecologist, Clinical Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant and other healthcare professionals with an interest in the field of female urology.

Omnia Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


Credit Designation

Cancellation Policy



If cancellation is received prior to 14 days of the event, a registrant may receive full credit for a future Omnia Education course (to be used within 12 months), or the option of the course fee returned, less a $25 processing fee. If cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the conference, refunds are not available, however, a 50% credit will be applied towards a future Omnia Education course (to be used within 12 months).  All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing either by mail, email or fax.
